The Arboise Ecaille Jacob is a clay tile made in France. It's a plain interlocking small format tile. The Arboise Ecaille Jacob is made at Commenailles in the heart of the Jura.

Prodigious

The Arboise Scallop Jacob is a traditional plain tile but of modern design, incorporating the latest technical advances. This tile gives little away: its form, its camber and its extremely flat front edge are those of a classic plain ecaille tile.

For steep pitches

The Arboise Scallop Jacob is designed for roofs with a steep pitch. Alsace and Franche-Comte are stout defenders of this style and this type of tile. The model is equally suitable for newbuild or renovation.

Authentic

The Arboise Scallop Jacob, taken individually, does not look like its predecessors. However, once installed, the overall look of the roof is identical to that of a traditional roof of plain ecaille (fish scale) tiles. Indeed, that is the intended look: a tile that is technically advanced but true to its roots. The same search for authenticity has been brought to the choice of colours, which will bring a harmonious match with the traditional style of the region.
